 VACANCY | Golf Services Assistant

We have a great opportunity for you to join our Golf Operations team as a Golf Services Assistant with the desire to work at a commercially run club where customer focus drives our thinking.


Key Skills:
  • Works with the Golf Services team to provide an unrivalled level of service by assisting Members and Guests with all aspects of their golf experience
  • Assists in the setup and execution of member golf tournaments and outings
  • Maintains the buggy staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area
  • Maintains the buggy storage area and buggy wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition
  • Prepares golf buggies for play following the standards of London Golf Club
  • Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current buggy policy, speed of play and so forth
  • Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day

VACANCY | Kitchen Porter

We are looking for someone to join our Kitchen Team and help support with our cleaning schedule and programme. We are looking for 5 shifts per week (9 hours per shift). Please note this may include weekends.


VACANCY | Assistant Greenkeeper

We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as an Assistant Greenkeeper with the desire to work at a commercially run club where customer focus drives our thinking.

Key skills and attributes: 
  • Relevant greenkeeping experience (at least 3 years for Assistant Greenkeeper position) 
  • Sound practical skills 
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Spraying experience, as well as PA1, PA2 and PA6 certification would be advantageous
  • Self motivated individual, with drive and initiative
  • Receptive and contributes to new ideas and willingness to undergo regular training
  • Ability to work to high standards with an attention to detail
  • Enjoys and works well in a large team atmosphere
  • Positive attitude with good communication skills

VACANCY | Gardener

Are you…. A plant lover, physically fit with a good work ethic, an outdoor type, adaptable, self-motivated as well as a team player… then read on! Essentially we are looking for an individual with these personal attributes to join our Head of Gardens and Landscapes in a Gardener/Landscaper role.

This is a flexible role covering a wide spectrum of work and encourages a creative mind.


Extensive gardens and grounds set in 700 acres with diverse plantings including mixed borders of herbaceous plants, shrubs, grasses, hedging, trees and container planting. The gardens provide a stunning backdrop for outdoor dining and events, using a creative palette of planting, sculpture and ornamental lawns as well as distant views. New ideas and a fresh thinking approach is encouraged.

Routine maintenance to include hedge-cutting, pruning, lawn maintenance, watering, weeding etc. 

The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop existing skills and experiences, as well as a chance to work with a dynamic and diverse team. 
 

Applicants with NVQ L2/3 or RHS equivalent preferred, however an exceptional candidate could look to achieve these as part of their training. There is scope to further develop your skill set in-house. A positive work ethic, sound plant knowledge and practical skills essential, with a keen eye for detail. Chainsaw felling, PA1/6 Spraying desirable but not essential.

You must be comfortable working alone as well as alongside your supervisor and occasionally as part of a bigger team assisting the Greenkeepers.
