PRO SHOP ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a Pro Shop Assistant. This position works closely with the Director of Golf to ensure the best possible golf experience for members and guests.
Key responsibilities:

Maintain a professional and service-orientated environment in the Pro Shop by utilizing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Utilizing the Point of sale (POS) system for processing purchases and credit card transactions
• Answering the telephone
• Managing the tee-time reservation system in accordance with the standards set out by LGC
• Maintain the Pro Shop environment by keeping the merchandise well presented and vacuuming/dusting when needed
• Follow set guidelines for opening and closing, including cash handling and tallying the tee sheet at the end of each day
• Requirements:
  Retail experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience in handling cash and credit card transactions
• GCSE Maths and English
• Knowledge of golf preferred
• Ability to work 5 days/week on rota, including weekends either on early shift starting at 7.00am or late shift finishing at 7.00pm.

Renumeration:

• £6.50 per hour. Average hours 45/week.
• Paid 30 minute lunch break each day
• Free lunch
• Free parking
