Titled, The London, it is a hundred page bi-annual lifestyle and golf publication which goes out to London Golf Club members and all visitors to the Club. It’s also distributed in Canary Wharf and Mallorca as well as through the Club’s key partners including Aston Martin, Bentley and Ferrari.
The London Golf Club held a golf day for the advertisers before officially unveiling the magazine with an evening drinks reception for members and partners. The London Golf Club’s Honorary President Steve Backley OBE attended both events and won Nearest the Pin in the golf day.
On the night, advertisers Grange Aviation put on helicopter trips over the course and surrounding areas, cars from Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Lexus were on display outside the Clubhouse, Opus Books displayed their larger than life collection, Canary Wharf jewellers Charles Fish raffled off a Tag Heuer watch, while the O2 gave away VIP tickets to see Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters in concert.
The next issue of The London is out in October and will have full highlights of The European Open which is being held at The London Golf Club from 3rd to 6th July.
