A day’s golf at Walton Heath was up for grabs for the winning team. It would appear local knowledge came to the fore as the top 3 winning teams all comprised of LGC members. Danny Holmes, Tony Weller and Billy Britton led the way with a score of –12 winning by one shot from David Harris, Bob Taylor and Steve Connon.

Anthony Tarchetti continued his good form from last season (he posted two 59’s last year) firing an 8 under par 64 to lead the professionals by 2 shots from European Tour Professional Benn Barham. Tarchetti’s score was helped by 2 eagles in his round on the par 5’s the 11th & 13th which gave him the edge.
