As 37 players headed out onto the International course to contest for the 5 Clubs Challenge Trophy.  Huge credit must go to the greenstaff who presented a course in fantastic condition and the scores reflected this as to break into the top five a minimum of 39 points was required! An impressive 11 players managed to score 36 points or better but there was none more so than James Beadle who returned a blistering score of 43 points to wrap up the victory over an equally impressive Jordan Godwin whose 41 points off +1 handicap meant that he negotiated his way round the course in just 66 shots.  Billy McManus’ 40 points just managed to pip Mike Griffin for third spot on countback whilst the final prize spot went to Kevin Weaver on 39 points.
