But it is more demure than its neighbour and its strengths are in the respect it shows to all abilities of golfer and the sheer enjoyment of the rare mix of an inland links style blended with the innovative designs of today.

If you take on any of the precarious pin positions on the blistering par 3s, or the brave route at the signature 4th hole you will know this course has more teeth than a grinning alligator. Yet allied to a fine golfing test is the respite and relaxation you can find from swallowing some pride and choosing one of the four tees that suit your mood and game best.

London Golf Club is privileged to have this Golden Bear legacy draped over the lurching North Kent Countryside, just as much as we are to have one of the finest greenkeeping teams in the land to keep both courses in a shape well beyond most other clubs' comprehension.

Very much in with the philosophy of the club, technology and tradition go hand in hand as well as the real desire for finesse and perfection. While at once being state of the art we are not afraid to wind back the years and get our hands dirty. Through aching fingers, uniquely the greens on The International are hand-weeded.
